After a number of years post "Corporate Retirement" and carrying out a few short Consultancies, I am now finding that I can be useful again. With grandchildren who draw you to them [ I call them "Magnets". because you find it difficult to escape their attraction ], the last few years have been demanding. Demand from the little ones has not changed. In fact it has increased. Interest from the commercial world has changed. It too has increased. I am now finding that my 40 years experience is becoming useful. I am happy to help and transfer my knowledge. After all I was the Director of Knowledge Management some years / decades ago. I very much doubt people know what ZOOM / MS Teams type technology looked like about 20 years ago. Let me say it was primitive and expensive and difficult to arrange. We had to use "Bridges" to set up meetings.[ Cost ] We set up meetings between, Canada, UK, Germany, Other Central Europe locations, Moscow,[Belgium], South Korea etc. Some staff went to work early, before breakfast, to call in. Some staff went back to work after "Supper". I am glad that I can share my knowledge and experience and keep things moving forwards. Despite the age and body status, the brain is still good.
