I am a fifth-year undergraduate student pursuing a major in Industrial Microbiology at the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez Campus. I enjoy the everyday pursuit of scientific knowledge that provides me with innovative ways of solving real-life problems. I have a strong passion for Oncology, Immunology and Infectious Diseases. My professional aspiration is to develop into a Physician-Scientist and dedicate my work to Translational Research in Cancer Biology and Immunology. Nonetheless, I also admire working on multidisciplinary-field projects, especially in the fields of Astrobiology and Synthetic Biology.
