Passionate and enthusiastic language educator with years of experience living, learning, and teaching in North Africa. My experiences in language teaching and intercultural communication have offered me the exciting opportunity to witness firsthand the transformative power of dynamic educational programming to inspire and mobilize new generations of creative and empathetic global citizens. Through my intensive study in Morocco as a National Security Language Initiative scholar, internships with English teaching programs both stateside and overseas, and work as a counselor and curriculum facilitator at the Concordia Arabic Language Village, I have over four years of experience in lesson planning, curriculum design, and teaching both Arabic and English to non-native speakers. During my years of experience working in graphic design and digital marketing for language and international education organizations, I have developed technical graphic design and evaluation skills as well as a passion for telling the stories of the next generation of changemakers, both visually and in writing. My work with Legacy International, Lexody, and the International Center for Language Studies has allowed me to explore and implement new design possibilities as well as growth and outreach strategies centered on human storytelling.
