About Me: Passionate Research Professional I am a dynamic and results-driven professional with a proven track record in the clinical translation and biotechnology industry. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Manager at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), where I am a key member of the Clinical Trial Catalyst Team. My mission is to drive Hong Kong into a Leading Clinical Innovation Hub by fostering an ecosystem that supports groundbreaking discoveries and transformative therapies. What I Do: Bridging Science and Business As a strategic liaison, I evaluate and attract biomedical companies to HKSTP, managing 11 applications and supporting 8 companies to enhance the local ecosystem. I facilitate their integration, identify clinical trial opportunities, and establish trial sites, connecting companies with principal investigators. Clinical Trial Funding Expertise I manage HKSTP's clinical trial funding program, empowering companies to conduct research with confidence. My role ensures timely assessments and claims processing, securing critical resources for innovation. Scientific Pioneer Before HKSTP, I led R&D at Novoheart International Limited, focusing on stem cell research and tissue engineering. I developed an automated drug screening platform for 3D cardiac tissue, enhancing research capabilities and facilitating technology transfer with AstraZeneca. Collaborator and Innovator I thrive in collaborative environments, fostering partnerships, and driving projects forward with self-motivation and exceptional communication skills. Lifelong Learner I stay abreast of industry trends, currently pursuing a Medical Science Liaison certification to bridge research and clinical practice more effectively.
