Give me a goal, freedom and resources and I get results! I'm a goal oriented and no non-sense individual who enjoys a challenge, overcoming it and delivering a result. I don't shy away from taking ownership for a problem or a situation and don't shy away from decision making to get job done. I built my career by taking on new and more difficult tasks even when it wasn't expected of me and then succeeded in them. I value honesty, clear communication and will not hide if things start going wrong. At the same time expect the same from others and will bring to the attention of appropriate managers problematic issues if they stand in the way. I'm a good team player provided the people on the team are pulling in the same direction and also wish to achieve results. In previous positions I've been in where I had to lead a team, I made sure everyone was on the same page regarding where we are, what we were aiming for and acted as a mediator in the middle if there was problems. This included talking with and understanding more problematic team members to get them in the same boat. As my previous experience as well as feedback showed, I did good in the leadership role and I'm now looking for lead position in either a project or a team to challenge myself further since I've so far solved all technical tasks and project I've worked on. I don't want to stop growing until I've reached a level where I can see I am not able to get things done anymore and so far I've yet to reach that point. I can deal with a wide variety of personality types by being a good listener, even difficult ones, provided what they say contains substance. My approach is to find small goals to aim for when things get difficult and provide the same help to other team members who need it. As a person, I'm calm in my demeanor and approach to things and I try to find a reasonable compromise with parties involved. This means I will at least listen and consider all viewpoints just to make sure nothing has been missed, even if all of them cannot be implemented. When dealing with stressful situations or deadlines I maintain focus and look for solutions to problems rather than complain about the situation. When I see something is not possible I report it as soon as it becomes clear, so stakeholders are aware while at the same time offering alternative options of how to proceed.
