I am PASSIONATE about making OPEN SCIENCE the new normal – in a balanced, sensible, and responsible way, guided by the principle “as open as possible, as closed as necessary.” As Science Policy Coordinator at ZBW, I work to EMBED Open Science and research data into European policy and institutional practice. I represent Germany in CoNOSC – the Council for National Open Science Coordination, I am ZBW’s delegate in the European Open Science Cloud Association (EOSC-A), and I help shape international dialogue through initiatives like the Open Science Retreat. I BELIEVE that lasting change grows through collaboration, reliable infrastructures and awareness-building. My goal is to foster a TRUSTWORTHY SCIENCE ECOSYSTEM based on academic freedom, responsibility and integrity. If you would like to work together toward this goal, I’d be happy to connect!
