About

On the record

As the Executive Director of the American Library in Paris, the largest English-language lending library on the European continent and a bustling cultural center, I lead a team of sixteen staff and fifty volunteers who serve members from 100 countries. I have been in this role for five years, during which I have driven organizational growth, translated strategy into tangible outcomes, and fostered a positive organizational culture. I am passionate about creating community around shared purpose, and I believe that when business, civic institutions, and public policy align, we can tap into enormous potential for positive social change. I have an Executive MBA from HEC Paris with a specialization in digital transformation and a Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I also sit on the Board of Trustees at the Marymount International School, where I contribute to the Facilities and Centenary Planning Committees. In my spare time, I enjoy public speaking, writing essays, and sketching.
