Jamil D••• has over 30 years of extensive and diversified experience in the ICT industry with a proven track record in Business Development, Strategic Planning, coupled with Operational Leadership. Currently, Jamil is the CEO of OFFTEC Palestine, OFFTEC is one of the Middle East leading IT companies in the region. furthermore, Jamil is also a Board member of the OFFTEC Holding Group PLC (OHG) established in 1910, with operations in Jordan, Sudan, Egypt and the USA. Jamil has led OFFTEC Palestine into a multi-million dollar company, employing over 50 people in Palestine. OFFTEC continues to enjoy a sustainable organic growth and is considered a key player towards the development of sustainable Palestinian Economy. On a national level, and as a sector leader Jamil has taken a fundamental role in supporting the development of ICT industry in Palestine and most recently embarked upon the establishment of the Palestine TechnoPark through the generous fund of $12 million from the Indian government, while Jamil had also occupied the following posts - Chairman of Board of Directors of Palestine IT Association of Companies (PITA)- Chairman of Palestine ICT Incubator (PICTI)- Member of the Board of Trustees of Palestine Education Initiative (PEI)- Member of the Palestine Private Sector Coordination Council - Member of the Palestine Investment Agency (PIPA) Jamil was instrumental in leading a number of major ICT initiatives in the region, e.g. Laptop for Every student, Laptop4all, NetKETABi Initiative (in partnership with Intel, Microsoft and OPIC-The Overseas Private Investment Corporation). On the multinationals level, Jamil enjoys exceptional credibility and trust among leading Technology firms and partners in the World such as Intel, Microsoft, Acer, Kyocera, and has provided numerous recommendations on their operations and expansion in the region.
