With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, I started my career in FMC Technologies. Here I worked with FEA, numerical and statistical analysis, scripting, programming and condition monitoring services. From 2010 to 2013 I had the privilege to lead a group 18 highly professional analysts. In 2013, I took on the role as department manager. This gave me the opportunity to shape the strategy for the department, lead our transition to a service team and set the direction for integrity services globally for the Well Access Systems product line within TechnipFMC. This was also my first experience with managing a leadership team and overseeing a department of 70 engineers across three sites – including St. Petersburg. In September 2017, I started my EMBA at London Business School, and I graduated in July 2019. The exciting, global, and diverse landscape of TechnipFMC gave me the opportunity to apply the learning from LBS immediately. This was very valuable when leading the department through an industry downturn with a combination of commercial, technical and process changes. Now I work as Director of Engineering Services in Norway, UK and Russia – and I have the privilege to split my work week across three sites. I oversee all engineering activity in the service center. This include managing a diverse management team responsible for around 150 engineers, including our engineering capabilities in Krakow. Additionally, I manage a P&L focusing on engineering services towards energy companies. This is a combination of digital services based on our condition performance monitoring solutions with data analytics, remote operations and real time advisory solutions through our digital platform. We also provide more traditional engineering services like life extension- & feasibility studies and advanced structural- and data analysis. I am passionate about leadership development, and I support training of new leaders through TechnipFMC's leadership development program. Additionally, I have a sole proprietorship where I provide training (public speaking arrangements) in employee engagement and people analytics. I also serve as Chairman of Drammen Gymnastic association, with the mission to deliver solid motor education to members from 3 to 90 years old. The association won a total of 17 Norwegian championship medals in 2019. In my spare time, I like to listen to audiobooks and exercise. In the weekends, I can be found in the mountains of Norway (Rauland) together with my wife and three kids.
