Diligent, precise, and determined Electromechanical Technologist, with elite abilities in designing, innovating, and maintaining systems in the automation field.In college I decided to orient my life to becoming one of the best in my field. On top of the rigorous studying, I dedicated countless hours to training above and beyond in real world scenarios. Creating systems mechanically and electrically, I would compete for 4 years at a top level in Canada, making my way up to, and winning the national competition both times I entered. The opportunity to travel and compete on a world level came my way, and I worked at a high level to showcase my abilities in the Electromechanical field. I have a deep desire to continue this great stride forward in any industry I work in.Notable accomplishments-2019 Skills Canada Mechatronics champion-2021 Virtual Skills Canada Mechatronics champion -2021 Festo WorldSkills hybrid Mechatronics competitor, finishing 4th out of 24 teams from around the world. My teammate and I were especially acknowledged for our innovation in controlling simulated equipment with a physical HMI.Capabilities-Extremely proficient in PLC programming (Ladder, SFC, Function block, structured text)-Designed and implemented many vision system projects (Cognex/Keyence) for end of line quality control-Exceptional ability to design and execute construction of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems-Able to work professionally and efficiently in an intense, fast paced atmosphere-Working with a team and acting as a leader to ensure success.
