In my 17 years in web-development, I worked my way up from a beginner to a team lead of small but effective international teams of several people doing tasks for major customers from all over the world. My key traits- I prefer to work on projects that aim to give something of value to users rather than achieve managers' KPIs- I am happy when the code base is in good order - I strive for clean code and follow the "boy-scout rule"- I appreciate a good code review and I know how to make it so that people want to thank me, not to hurt me- I'm all for healthy competition - that's where I get the energy to grow- I am no stranger to perfectionism, but I am against nerdiness and am able to compromise- I am happy to share my knowledge- I am able to express my thoughts clearly and do not abuse messengers by breaking a sentence into several messages.
