HEC Services If you are looking for help with the implementation of your Lockout/Tagout Program this is my main area of expertise. I have an extensive background in this field derived mainly from the experience gained while working as the Lockout/Tagout Expert for Ontario Power Generation. I was previously a Licensed Reactor Operator - Shift Operating Supervisor and got heavily involved in the scheduling of Reactor Maintenance Outages. When I drilled down into the Regulatory requirements at the time for Lockout/Tagout I identified to OPG that they were not in compliance with existing Provincial Regulations. As a result I was tasked to sit on the Technical Committee for the development of CSA-Z460 so as to properly position OPG for compliance. I have since retired and have started a Consulting Business (Hazardous Energy Control (HEC) Consulting Services) and have provided a number of leading firms with the required guidance in establishing Provincial, CSA Z460 compliance and compliance with 1910-147 for US Facilities. I also continue to deliver CSA-Z460 Training for Canadian Standards Association of Canada.
