Senior Automation Consultant at Key2quality

About

On the record

Hello there. I graduated as an IT-Engineer in 2007. I imagined that I would be a software developer for the rest of my days since it is the best thing ever. Boy was I wrong. I started as a software developer developing C# backend applications. Later I became a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Support Engineer, DevOps Team Lead, Team Manager and Test Automation Engineer. So, I have tried many different roles over a course of many years. I do however prefer to stay close to the code and continue doing practical tasks around this. I now mainly work as a Developer and Test Automation Engineer and have done since August 2022. As a consultant at Key2Quality I enjoy all kinds of tasks, and I am not afraid to try something new. So, if you have a challenge for me, please get in touch. I enjoy - C# development - Performance optimizing - Project and team management - Quality assurance work - Test automation - Database development - Configuration management - Being a mentor to interns - The task forces that everyone else hates. I like a good challenge and problem solving. I have worked a lot with the following technologies - C#- WCF (Caliburn micro) and WPF web services - MSSQL and MongoDB - REST interfaces I also worked with - Visual Studio Professional / Code - Jira - Azure DevOps - Jenkins and TeamCity - GIT (Bitbucket, Azure and GitLab)- TestComplete and TestExecute for automatic testing (incl. Java Script) I have also tried working with the following technologies. Usually, it has been through smaller projects, where I have had to learn the basics of a new programming language- Linux Bash - GitLab templates - Ruby - React and TypeScript Which kind of guy am I- I'm very organized. Please don't touch my desk- I like to have and create an overview for me and others- My favorite tool is the office whiteboard- I'm very calm and collected- I like to teach others- I like to be independent. I want to be able to do stuff myself and not be dependent on others. My HBDI profile says two yellow and a green dot. Me and my hobbies I have a lot of different hobbies I can tend to depending on the mood or even the weather. I service the family cars, I chop down trees and love garden work. I do a lot of DIY work at home. I'm very pragmatic and have a lot of technical interest in how things work.
