Gadiel S••• is a researcher, consultant, and teacher in the theoretical foundations and practical applications of information theory. He has published extensively in information theory, error correcting codes, data compression, image processing, and cryptography. He is a co-author of the book Elliptic Curves in Cryptography and a co-editor of Advances in Elliptic Curve Cryptography (2005), both published by Cambridge University Press. In addition, he is named as an inventor or co-inventor in more than 80 granted U.S. patents in these areas, as well as several pending ones.
