I am a CFO with over 20 years of experience working in multinational corporations, investment holding companies, and international trading groups. I currently manage the financial strategy, management, and reporting of Vesco Group, a multi-jurisdictional company operating in Ukraine, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Poland, Romania, Serbia, and India. My career began at McDonald's Ukraine, where I gained practical experience in accounting, reporting, inventory control, and automation (MS Access). At Ernst & Young, I focused on tax audits, deferred taxes, and control systems for clients in the telecommunications and industrial sectors, building a solid foundation in taxation and regulatory compliance. At Metinvest Holding, I worked for over 5 years as an internal auditor, evaluating control, procurement, investment, and sales processes, reporting to senior management and the board of directors. I gained experience in identifying risks and developing control systems. At UMG Investments (SCM Group), I progressed from Deputy CFO to CFO of Vesco, where I: Migrated budgeting and reporting from Excel to IFRS and ERP-based systems Managed the financial structuring of new businesses within the group Structured tax-efficient financing during VAT refund delays Participated in investment committees, reviewing financial models Over the past 5 years, my role has expanded globally: Launched financial operations in Italy and Spain, expanding them to Poland, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, and India Created a consolidated reporting system for multiple business segments (clay, third-party sourcing, blends) Secured multi-million dollar accounts receivable financing lines in Spain and Italy Served as the group expert on transfer pricing in EU markets Led the transformation of ERP into a cost-effective, integrated, multinational system Maintained the size of the finance team despite complexity, increasing efficiency through automation I believe that finance is not just about numbers, but also about driving growth, building trust, and increasing resilience.
