M.E.(Peggy) G•••, CPA, CA, CRMA, ICD.D. GCB.D, CCB.D Ms. G••• recently completed Competent Boards ESG Designation and Certificate ( GCB.D) in 2022 and followed with specific Climate & Biodiversity Designation and Certificate (CCB.D) in 2023. Ms. G•••'s prior executive roles in Banking and Insurance included Audit, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Finance/CFO, and Operations & Technology. She worked in the Canadian, U.S. and U.K. Financial Services regulatory environments, liaising with OSFI, SEC, FCA. She held executive roles with BMO/Harris Bank, RBC Capital Markets, CIBC, and Aviva Insurance (UK). She also held the position of Chief Auditor for Metrolinx, Toronto's commuter transportation service. Ms. G••• was appointed to the Board of the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research in September 2022. Prior to this new appointment, Ms. G••• was Audit Committee Chair, POINT Biopharma (Nasdaq: PNT) for the previous 2 years. POINT is targeting to revolutionize radiopharmaceutical drug development and commercialization in cancer treatment through radioligand therapies. POINT was bought by Eli Lilly on October 3rd, 2023. We are all very proud of our accomplishment in aiding cancer research. Ms. G••• was also on the Board of Virax Biolabs (London, UK based), as Audit & Risk Committee Chair. Virax Biolabs is an innovative biotechnology company focused on the prevention, detection and diagnosis of viral diseases and cancer. Prior Board experience includes Board Chair, Toronto Chapter, Institute of Internal Auditors; Audit Committee Chair, Ontario Pension Board; Ontario Power Generation Audit Committee and Operations Committee member; Interac Board member. Canadian Board Diversity Council "Diversity 50" award in 2016. Former Chief Auditor, Metrolinx, Canada's largest commuter transportation system. Previously SVP Operations and Technology at CIBC, managing the 1200 person International Operations Group. Prior to CIBC, Ms. G••• was Managing Director, Operations Shared Services with RBC Capital Market, and SVP Finance and Chief Risk Officer at Aviva Insurance. Ms. G••• held several executive roles at BMO Financial Group from 1996 - 2005. including VP Operational Risk; VP Banking Products; VP Procurement and Strategic Sourcing; and VP and CFO Operations & Technology Division. Ms. G••• joined Coopers & Lybrand ( now PWC ) after university. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Victoria College, University of Toronto.
