I am accomplished senior legal/business professional with more than 15 years’ experience in international power and mining companies’ executive management and 10 years’ prior experience in banking and consulting services in CIS region. I am experienced in leading complex, multi-jurisdictional financings, acquisitions and joint ventures, with particular focus on the power and mining sectors. I demonstrated ability to manage external advisors and in-house legal teams in complex compliance, legal and business environments. Compliance and Government Relations are also the essential parts of my experience and my current duty. During last 10 years I have been involved in GR sphere with respect to resolving complicated matters and issues of due course of business at the top and senior levels of the various ministries and governmental authorities. EXPERIENCE Uranium One Inc, Kazakhstan. One of the Leaders of the joint team responsible for the restructuring of the targeted mining assets with Kazatomprom, inter alia obtaining various high ranking regulatory approvals from governmental authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kazakhmys Plc, Kazakhstan. Member of the M&A team responsible for the acquisition and alienation of targeted power generation & mining assets in the CIS region. AES Group of Companies in Kazakhstan. Regional unit of the global power giant AES Corporation in the Republic of Kazakhstan. As Chief Legal Officer conducted general legal management of company’s operations based on electric power and heat power production & supply and mining enterprise of the Group in Kazakhstan.
