IT Consultant, Software Engineer, Data Analyst specialised in mapping and extracting value from geospatial data. Particularly experienced in the environmental, biodiversity, and sustainability domains. Graduating from a full-time M. Sc. in Geocomputation at the National Centre for Geocomputation, Maynooth University in 2020, subsequent clients have included Government Departments, State Agencies, Local Authorities, environmental NGOs, data-rich enterprises and SMEs. Previously a Principal Investigator and Technical Manager in the Orchestration and Control Research Lab of Intel Labs Europe with a focus on software workload placement optimisation, interoperability, dependability and differentiation in cloud computing and at the network edge, with a particular interest in open cloud and edge computing standards. Extensive experience as an enterprise architect and software engineer, responsible for factory automation decision support systems deployed across Intel's international network of state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Significant experience in open collaboration with industry and academia in bilateral, national and international research programmes (e.g. the European Commission's Horizon 2020) and standardization initiatives (e.g. ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 38 Cloud Computing and Distributed Platforms).
