Dainius M••• is a a co-initiator of a startup company Bious labs, which produces nano and microfibre printers and matrixes for tissue engineering, biotech and cleantech applications, as well as premium cosmetics producs. He is a full professor at Faculty of Chemical technology, Kaunas University of Technology. He is formerly a Vice Dean of Research at the faculty and the Department Head at Dept. of Environmental Technologies. Dr. M•••’ research interests are focused on aerosol science and nanotechnology for advanced fibrous matrixes. He uses methods of aerosol technology for the synthesis of novel nano and micro fibrous structures for filtration, separation, catalysis and artificial tissues. During a recent decade he has been coordinating Lithuanian actions in several major European and national research projects. The background on the research on air quality and aerosols was obtained during his 3-year visit as a visiting scientist in the Center of Health-Related Aerosol Studies at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.
