During my 2 years at UNI, I worked extensively with R and Python mainly on Data Science and Machine Learning projects, culminating in a Thesis where we built, trained, and evaluated deep convolutional networks for predicting inter-residue amino-acid distances. Since August 2020 I have been working partly as a data scientist and researcher and partly as a software engineer. In my first 6 months, I was responsible for the deployment and maintenance of an application to AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, S3, Cognito). In my second year, I focused mainly on the development of a web application for automatic analysis and evaluation of covid positive samples, which is currently in production and is used by lab researchers across Slovakia. I am the lead frontend (React JS) and backend developer (FastAPI, SQL(Alchemy)). I have been responsible for the DevOps part as well: management of self hosted GitLab, CI/CD workflow and administration of multi node on prem Kubernetes cluster
