Lecturer & Program Learning Outcomes(Plos) Coordinator at Qatar University

About

On the record

A sociologist, human rights advocate, and cross-cultural strategist with over 19 years of experience spanning higher education, international justice, development, and community organizing. My work bridges the worlds of academia and advocacy — from lecturing on gender and public policy to supporting investigations at local, regional, and international justice levels. At the heart of my career is a deep commitment to justice, equity, and evidence-based transformation. I’ve led civic education initiatives in Sudan, coordinated learning outcome assessments in Qatar, and conducted pioneering research in various social fields in the United States and the Middle East. Whether in policy and justice arenas or a classroom, I focus on translating complex data into real-world impact. My technical skill set includes data analysis (SPSS, Stata, NVivo, iBase, RelativityOne), open-source intelligence (WASP, OPSWAT), and program evaluation. I have also designed and delivered participatory training programs on workplace organization, mobilization, and rights-based education across Africa and the Middle East.
