About

On the record

Hard-working, passionate, enthusiastic, resourceful, critical, charismatic, fast-learning, intelligent… and with a good dose of humour – that’s how I would describe myself, though some people might simply call me Adam. I’m also a father of two small kids, which has given me a whole new perspective on leadership, patience, and multitasking. ‍‍ My areas of interest are broad and ever-evolving, but include science, technology, deep-tech business, sales, commercialisation, arts, and music. Rather than listing off a series of self-endorsements, I prefer to share a little story from my life. If you’ve got my attention, you’re welcome to join me on this journey! After graduating with distinction from gymnasium, I struggled to pinpoint what I truly wanted to do. I was fortunate enough to excel in almost any subject, and even graduated from music school in piano with distinction (a bit of a bummer when you’re trying to narrow things down, right?). Still, my passion for science, technology, business, arts, and music has always remained constant. While I initially pursued science, my heart eventually led me toward a different path: higher education in music. To maximize my growth and challenge myself, I opted for one of the most leadership-intensive programs: Symphony Orchestra and Opera Conducting. This decision wasn’t about becoming a professional musician (though that would’ve been a fantastic bonus), but about acquiring invaluable skills that I continue to use today. In this program, I gained leadership capabilities, problem-solving, real-time management, big & small picture coordination, project planning, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for imagination and creativity. After completing my studies and establishing myself as a symphony orchestra conductor and music theory/piano teacher, the global pandemic prompted a shift in my career. I realized I was ready for a new challenge, one where I could leverage my skills in a completely different domain. This led me to deep-tech. I began working at a deep-tech-focused VC fund as a Project Manager, later taking on additional role of a Project/Product Manager & Business Development Manager role at a deep-tech engineering company. And that’s just the start! As I'm looking for my next challenge, feel free to connect if you’d like to talk or share experiences
