With over 15 years of experience in advertising and digital media, Angel has managed social media content and strategy for prominent multinational brands in the Philippines. Some key highlights of her work and experience include- Founding Director of the Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce (2016), the first LGBT chamber of commerce in the Asia - National Convener for Pride PH, the largest and widest coalition of LGBT individuals and organizations in the country, which mounted the biggest Pride March in Asia - Country Chair of Égalité Philippines, the LGBTQIA+ employee resource group of Publicis Groupe - Owner of two pioneering safe spaces in the F&B industry, Anu'man and Kapuwa - Convenor for Resbak, an artist collective supporting survivors of the drug war and initiatives like Silingan Coffee - Convenor of Voices of Justice for Women and Peace - Marketing Lead Strategist for the creative meta-docu film "Lakambini: Gregoria de Jesus", a mainstream film about a Filipina heroine As an Advertising Strategist (Social Media), Angel tries to develop campaigns that prioritize diversity and inclusion, resonating culturally while promoting social change.
