The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1966 by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) and hosted by the Philippine government at the University of the Philippines Los Baños. SEARCA aligns its initiatives with SEAMEO's directive, serving its 11 member countries: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. Beyond Southeast Asia, SEARCA also engages with SEAMEO's associate member countries, namely Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Morocco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, and the United Kingdom. As a center of excellence in agriculture, SEARCA promotes high-quality graduate study, conducts research, and disseminates findings relevant to Southeast Asia's agricultural challenges.
