After his tragic death in 2009, his wife Roula, a former pianist and musicologist carried on the legacy, and became the first woman to run a winery in Lebanon, all by herself. Young and new generation embracing innovation - Roland and his partner Tamara, a Burgundy-trained winemaker, added a young and innovative spirit to our winery after they came back from their studies and travels in 2019. They introduced new wines to the range, mainly produced with the Indigenous grapes of Lebanon; Obeideh and Cinsault. They have a modern style of winemaking, with limited intervention and limited influence of oak, favoring fruit-driven, well balanced wines. Respect the terroir, Nature and Biodiversity -"Vinification begins in the vineyards," said Nicolas. We limit human intervention, nurturing our vineyards with sustainable practices, no herbicides or insecticides. Expression Wines - We blend grape varieties, altitude, climate, and geology to produce bottles/year. Experience the three terroirs of Coteaux du Liban freely showcased!
