Praia City Group

Praia City Group on Governance Statistics (the Praia Group) is the first and only City Group led by an African country. It was established in March 2015 during the 46th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission (UNSC), driven by international recognition that governance statistics constitute a critical yet underdeveloped area, lacking the maturity and investment afforded to other statistical domains in most parts of the world.
