Research Institute For Soil And Water Conservation

VÚMOP, v. v. i.(Research Institute for Soil and Water Conservation) is a public research and educational institution focused on soil science, water and landscape management, and sustainable use of natural resources. Our activities include basic and applied research in soil and water protection, climate adaptation, and the development of sustainable agricultural and landscape practices, including irrigation and drainage systems. We are funded mainly through national and international research grants supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of the Environment, and Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic. VÚMOP collaborates with Czech and international universities, research institutes, and organizations to support science-based solutions for resilient landscapes and sustainable land management.
