Barenboim-Said Center For Music

By providing a top-level musical education, the Barenboim-Said Center for Music in Ramallah, Palestine offers a path forward for its young students, potentially leading to an opportunity to audition for the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin, and a chance to eventually play with the West-Eastern Divan orchestra. Our vision for the project is to use music as a means to uplift the local Palestinian community and to open new pathways for young musicians at the Center to share their talents with their community and the world. The eight-year curriculum at the Center is designed to develop the discipline and training required for a career in music.
