People's Harmonious Development Society conducts research and implements projects in two main areas: • Sustainable development: Promoting SD and stability in Georgia's • Innovation in agriculture and food security: PHDS focuses on improvement ecological situation in Georgia, honey bee colonies health management. Key Contributions: • Conducting thorough research to identify the unique challenges hindering sustainable development and stability in these regions. Developing actionable and data-driven recommendations to address these challenges across various sectors, including socio-economic development, natural resource management, environmental protection, and security. Effectively disseminating insights and recommendations to key stakeholders, raising awareness of sustainable development's importance in border regions. Building strong partnerships with local communities, NGOs, and government agencies to implement successful practices and advocate for policy changes. Creating a clear and replicable framework for scaling up successful practices to other border regions facing similar obstacles. • Bee Treatments: The "Save the Bees" project explored the use of bio preparations for treating and preventing bee diseases. Experiments offers potentially safer and more sustainable alternatives to harmful chemical treatments, protecting both bees and human health. Impacts: • PHDS has completed over 60 programs and projects, collaborating with diverse stakeholders from government institutions to local communities and international partners. • Their research informs policymaking on human rights, social protection, and sustainable development in Georgia and beyond. • Their innovative technologies hold potential for wider adoption and positive impact on land restoration and bee health globally.
