Camara Education Ltd
Camara Education sets up computer labs in schools across Africa (in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia), and trains teachers and local staff to use and maintain them; to date we have put over 149,909 computers into 13,124 schools, impacting around 5,009,687 African children and trained over 72,107 teachers. Our mission is to transform education using technology to empower disadvantaged students. Our vision is a world-class technology-enabled education accessible to all. We do this through your donations, and by working with companies in the UK and Ireland to recycle their surplus or end-of-life computers and other IT equipment. We deliver both social and environmental impact: reducing waste and emissions around IT disposal, and delivering transformative digital education.
