The most important events in the history of the school: ①⑨⑧④-Ⓔ-① The establishment of Gymnázium Nováky (Nováky Grammar School) at the Secondary Industrial School of Chemistry, opening of two classes of 4-year study with a focus on agriculture, engineering and technical chemistry. ①⑨⑧⑤-Ⓔ-① - The opening of the first class with a focus on physical education. ⒺⒶ-①⑨⑨①/①⑨⑨② - Abolition of study fields with a focus on agriculture, engineering and technical chemistry. ①⑨⑨④-Ⓔ-① - The opening of the first class of 8-year study with extended foreign language teaching - Last graduates of the class with a focus on physical education. ②-Ⓔ-① - The opening of the first class with a focus on informatics. ②①-Ⓔ-① - The start of implementation of alternative curricula approved to valid curricula. ②⑦-ⒹⒺⒸ-① - The establishment of an accredited ECDL center. ②⑧-Ⓔ-① - The beginning of the implementation of teaching according to the school educational program in the first year of four-year and eight-year study. ②⑨-Ⓒ-① - start of the project of transforming a traditional school into a modern one. ②①①-Ⓔ-① - SOŠ Nováky (Nováky Secondary United School) was established and Gymnázium Nováky became its integral part. ②①⑨-ⒶⒼ-③① - By decision of The Self-Governing Region of Trenčín, Gymnázium Nováky was excluded from school networks. ②②①-ⒿⓁ-① - Allumni page http://gymno.sk (which used to be the original school domain) was re-created as the tribute to wonderful lectors as well as to those who studied or graduated from Gymnázium Nováky.
