The City of Playford is one of the fastest growing communities in Australia, covering 345 square kilometres on the northern perimeter of metropolitan Adelaide. Our Central Business District in Elizabeth is being reshaped and reinforced as a destination that supports and services the broader Northern Adelaide region and beyond. We are a city of contrasts, with a busy urbanised centre, bordered by a large defence base, prime horticultural land, rural townships and natural open spaces. We are experiencing intense residential growth, with former farming land being transformed into new housing estates at a rapid pace.
