Ngay Mai Helpline

Ngay Mai helpline is a community project, a free listening service that supports people who have mental health issues, especially those having suicidal thoughts and suicidal attempts. The helpline operators will be present, listen with empathy, and no judgment to help the caller get through a tough time on time. Helpline does not yet have a purpose to replace long-term counseling and psychotherapy services but will provide information in our network of sponsor centers, professional consultants for individuals problems. Besides that, we raise public awareness of mental health through professional articles and spreading helpline information in public. Ngay Mai which is called Tomorrow in English created from the idea that "Tomorrow is a new day". As a promise before hang up, the helpline operator will engage the caller about the return call on tomorrow or a time in the future when the caller need supported. In a hard time, people who have mental health problems will rebelieve in life if knowing that someone out there is waiting for their call and listening to their story.
