The Nigeria Medical Students' Association (NiMSA) Standing Committee on Capacity Building (SCOCB) is a vital Standing Committee of NiMSA saddled with empowering medical students to be active citizens and agents of positive change in their communities. Run by medical students for medical students, the Standing Committee aims to achieve its set goals and objectives through targeted and need based Capacity Building workshops, trainings and other activities where beyond the classroom courses are analyzed and taught for global citizenship, personal and professional development. NiMSA SCOCB's Vision and Mission statement. Vision: To adequately empower all Nigerian medical students with functional skills to positively impact the society. Mission: To adequately equip Nigerian medical students with 21st century skills and tools needed to effect positive change through need based Capacity Building workshops, trainings and webinars.
