Reboot
Reboot builds and powers coalitions for courageous, structural change. Founded in 2010 to challenge the norms, policies, and institutions that enable and sustain structural inequity, we are a group of tireless strategists, organizers, and designers and working to advance public discourse and action for social justice. We know that the world has the resources and ability to ensure all people live a safe, dignified, fulfilling life. Yet, there are persistent, structural barriers to realizing this simple but radical vision. In over 40 countries around the world, we work with communities, artists, movement leaders, researchers, governments, businesses, and philanthropic allies to overcome these barriers, and to realize the world we know is possible. Together with our visionary partners, we develop bold proposals to advance equity and justice, build momentum for innovative and intersectional solutions, and lead transformative co-creation processes. And support our partners through the long fights to win structural change. We won’t rest until our communities—especially those who have been historically oppressed—have true agency in shaping our world, and until our halls of power reflect the will of the people.

Society For Peace Studies And Practice Spsp
As a civil society, the Society for Peace Studies and Practice, SPSP, seeks to integrate peace scholarship and practice to advance the development of the culture of peace. SPSP provides a collaborative space for peace scholars and practitioners from various areas of specialization to creatively share and synthesize ideas and experiences to evolve a more holistic approach to the understanding and practice of peace. Sustainable peace, the goal of multi-level intervention, has been elusive in Africa partly because efforts of state and civil society actors in the quest for peace have not coalesced into the type of levelling focus that could serve to coordinate and translate these various peace actions into unified achievement. Consequently, peace and conflict studies and practices in Africa have been defined more by unfruitful competition than by a productive collaboration between peace scholars and conflict management practitioners. SPSP, an initiative that emerged from the discourse between scholars and practitioners on the Peace and Conflict Studies Programme of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, was formed in 2005 to meet this challenge. It is a truism that peace scholars need the experience of the practitioners for honing their context-specific analyses; the practitioners equally need scientific insight and familiarity with current findings of the best peace practice that research provides. SPSP aims to maximize the untapped potentials inherent in the integration of peace study and practice through: joint-project designs, joint facilitation of operational strategies in programmes, collaborative monitoring and evaluations, and other opportunities that creative cooperation between peace scholars and practitioners will lend to the quest of transforming conflict energies emerging from inevitable and often violent social interactions in contemporary Africa to peace resources.

Veritas Vision
Veritas Vision is a social enterprise that envisions a healthy, self-sufficient, equitable, and sustainable world. We are combating poverty and climate change by financing access to clean and stable electricity. The energy poverty problem facing Nigeria’s urban poor and rural dwellers is complex, so the solution needs to work on many levels. Veritas Vision is building a social distribution network that provides access to clean, reliable, affordable, safe, and quality electricity for low-income families and communities. We bring premium-quality solar products with flexible payment plans and prompt after-sales services straight to their doorsteps to help them save their hard-earned money and time, improve their health and the general qualities of their lives. We do this via a network of local micro-social-entrepreneurs – “Our Visioneers”. Visioneers bring our premium-quality and easy to use solar lamps and home systems straight to the doorsteps of our beneficiaries. This face-to-face distribution network allows us to build relationships and trust with our customers. It also means we gain regular feedback about the performance of our products and the needs of the families we serve, so we can keep providing the right products at the right price. Visioneers educate families on how solar energy works, how to use the product, and how it can help improve their productivity and quality of life. This empowers families to create cleaner, safer and healthier homes. Visioneers also offer our beneficiaries the choice to pay cash or via flexible installment payment plans according to their income. They also offer our beneficiaries prompt after-sales services. This allows families to save part of their hard-earned income, save time, open their businesses longer, and allowing their kids study longer at night for a brighter future. Research has proven that improving access to finance for poor families not only accelerates economic growth but reduces income inequality and poverty.
