Institut Darul Ridzuan
Institut Darul Ridzuan (IDR) is a public policy think tank for the Perak State Government. IDR was initiated by Menteri Besar YAB Dato’ Seri DiRaja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, in his effort to transform Perak into a developed state – a vision that is laid out and elaborated into a blueprint named Perak Amanjaya. IDR works with a community of network, which includes academicians, social enterprises, government agencies and private companies, to ensure that Perak achieves a dynamic and sustainable economy; a high and equitable distribution of income; the creation of well-educated and highly skilled human capital; and a vibrant private sector. To that end, IDR formulates and advocates public policies that reflect the three main objectives of Perak Amanjaya: Quality Opportunities, Quality Income and Quality Living.
