The Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) is a learned organization representing the scientific minds of Malaysia. ASM is a statutory body under the purview of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). The Academy is mandated by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia Act 1994 to advise the government and stakeholders on matters related to science, engineering and technology (SET). ASM also actively participates in the global SET arena positioning Malaysians scientists in various platforms and programmes. ASM consist of Fellows across eight disciplines ranging from Medical Sciences to Social Sciences and Humanities.
