The first steps were taken together with the Luso-Fármaco Institute and Medicamenta, companies with which it shared synergies from 1969 – when it was founded – to 1986. From that year on, Tecnifar won total autonomy and started the adventure of growing by itself, with independence, confidence, and determination. It is a family company since its foundation, with 100% national capital. Tecnifar path has been as dynamic as sustained because its growing strategy was always well established in precision and innovation criteria – the same criteria that guide its position and activity. Tecnifar works in the pharmaceutical sector producing, selling, and distributing medical products, including their own drugs and patented products from research companies of renowned expertise such as Angelini, Desitin, J. Uriach, Menarini, MSD, Ferring, Teva, Almirall and Medinfar. The active and constant search for the best therapeutic solutions made its portfolio even more complete, having today a wide offer of prescription medicinal products, OTC’s and medical devices for treatments related to the central nervous system, cardiovascular system, respiratory, urology, allergology and rheumatology areas among others.
