Buttonup was born at the intersection of entrepreneurship and supporting local communities; the establishment of Buttonup is based on the social dimension in serving the community by building the capacity of women and youth in Egypt’s most impoverished areas to provide a product of high quality and a reasonable price that can compete in different markets. Buttonup creates job opportunities for women and youth in impoverished areas in Egypt, devises innovative development solutions, and enables these groups to become both economically productive and socially engaged, with the ultimate aim of promoting human dignity and social equity.
