Who are We? FOUNTAIN GATE ACADEMY is an institution and a pioneering leader in raising Tanzanian boys and girls in the areas of academics and talents development based on three major pillars: knowledge, wisdom and talents. The three pillars appear in the School Motto - “The Fountain of Knowledge, Wisdom & Talents”. The founder, Japhet Mboto Makau, started the first school - Fountain Gate Academy in Tabata Sigara, Dar es Salaam with a mission of providing academic knowledge to Tanzanian students, instill wisdom and develop their talents through sports and games in the year 2007 with only 3 registered pupils and 5 members of staff. The institution currently provides education and nurtures talents to about students in Tanzania from Pre-Primary schools to High School in its three campuses located in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma and Morogoro. Fountain Gate Schools promote holistic and well-rounded Education so that students can do more than just succeed. Students and pupils are empowered with life skills and groomed to be future wise leaders and better citizens who can fight poverty through talents and help the Tanzanian and global community. At Fountain Gate Schools, we believe that everyone is someone in-as-far as talent endowment is concerned. This is proved by the availability of many boys and girls naturally gifted with different abilities in different fields. Ours has always been a duty to identify these talents and nurture them to their fullest for personal, national and global needs.
