KYRKA MELISSOKOMIKOS KYKLOS, founded in 1988 by passionate beekeepers Dimitrios and Eleni Kyrka, started as a hive manufacturing laboratory. Over the years, it has expanded to include bee foods, beekeeping clothing, and mechanical equipment, becoming a leading name in beekeeping supplies. Located in Glyka Nera, Attica, we are dedicated to producing and selling high-quality bee foods, supplements, and beekeeping equipment, catering to both novice and professional beekeepers. Since 2001, Evangelia Kyrka, an Agronomist with a Master’s degree in Food Technology and Quality Assurance from Reading University, has led the company. With extensive experience and a deep connection to beekeeping from a young age, she has driven the company's research and development initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement in all production and distribution lines. Research and Development (R&D) Our R&D department collaborates with beekeepers across Greece, exchanging knowledge and conducting continuous testing of beekeeping products. We prioritize bee health, ensuring quality and reliability for beekeepers and partners. We maintain 25 beehives dedicated to R&D, focusing on bee evolution and reproduction programs. Products and Services Products: Specialized bee foods and nutritional supplements, organic bee foods certified by DIO, essential oils, and veterinary-approved bee medicines. We also produce wooden bee hives, beekeeping structures, clothing, and trade beekeeping machinery, tools, honey, pollen, royal jelly, propolis, and wax under the brand "the3bees." Services: Veterinary prescriptions, colony health analysis, product analysis, honey production methods, and design and printing of logos and labels. Training Seminars: We offer comprehensive training seminars across Greece in collaboration with associations and cooperatives. Our seminars focus on bee nutrition, disease prevention, and honey processing, educating young beekeepers on sustainable beekeeping practices.
