Mercury Energy is one of the leading suppliers of aviation fuel in Kazakhstan. We ensure uninterrupted supplies of high-quality fuel to the largest airports of the country, guaranteeing compliance with international standards and strict quality control. The Mercury Energy oil depot has a modern infrastructure that ensures high production efficiency, safety and quality control at all stages of work with petroleum products. All key processes are automated and centrally managed, which allows maintaining high standards of operational sustainability. A 24-hour dispatch service carries out real-time monitoring, ensuring the stability of technological processes and prompt response to any deviations. Our own laboratory conducts regular analysis of petroleum products, confirming their compliance with established technical requirements and industry standards. To ensure industrial safety, an automatic fire extinguishing system manufactured by Siemens has been installed at the warehouse. The system includes both water and foam fire extinguishing, as well as the installation of foam generators. The complex includes its own fire station with two tanks with a capacity of 1200 m³ each, which ensures a high degree of readiness for localization and elimination of possible fires. A gas equalization system is installed on the territory of the oil depot, designed to connect the gas space of the tanks and reduce the emission of vapors into the atmosphere. In addition, there are treatment facilities that allow the reuse of purified water for industrial needs, which contributes to rational use of natural resources and a decrease in the environmental burden. The tank farm and process units in Mercury Energy comply with the international standards of the Joint Inspection Group (JIG 2). These standards regulate the quality control of aviation fuel and operational procedures at oil depots and are recognized by leading international organizations, including IATA.

Jsc Aktau International Airport

Aktau International Airport Joint Stock Company was established in November 1996. The airport itself has been in operation since 1983 and is capable of accommodating all types of aircraft used in civil aviation. A new stage in the development of Aktau International Airport JSC began in December 2007, when the airport was transferred to trust management under a concession agreement for the construction and operation of a new international passenger terminal. The new terminal, completed in 2009, has a capacity of 500 passengers per hour and a total area of 12,482 m², including VIP and CIP halls. The facility is equipped with modern safety and security systems, as well as advanced infrastructure, meeting international aviation standards. In addition, the airport carried out the reconstruction and extension of the runway, the rehabilitation of the apron and taxiways, and the upgrade of the OMI lighting system to Category I (CAT I) in accordance with ICAO requirements. After the completion of these works, the runway length reached 3,048 meters, enhancing the airport’s capability to accommodate a wider range of aircraft and support increased operational efficiency. In recognition of its achievements, Aktau International Airport has received several prestigious awards: • 2009: Winner of the “Best Airport of the Year in the CIS Countries” competition in the category “Most Intensively Developing Airport” for 2008. • 2010: Recognized as the “Most Promisingly Developing Airport in the CIS Countries” for 2009. Benefiting from its strategic location on the Caspian coast and supported by dynamic regional development projects, Aktau International Airport has significant potential to become a key transit and cargo hub on the Europe–Asia transport corridor. Located in Mangystau Region, Kazakhstan’s only province with direct access to the sea, the airport is ideally positioned to foster the growth of multimodal transportation, integrating air, sea, rail, and road networks.
