PDFM (Pacific Architects & Engineers) is an American company, founded in Japan in 1955 to provide architectural, engineering and facility maintenance services. By the mid-1970s the firm had become a major international provider of facility operations and maintenance services, and the headquarters were moved to Los Angeles. PAE Design and FM was established at that time to continue the firm's operations in Japan. PDFM 's architecture and engineering group has designed an extremely wide range of buildings, which in many ways has mirrored the post-war development of Japan. This way, a decent shelter with a productive job can be provided for a certain period of time without losing potential profits. In the meantime, we help them proceed to the next step by the end of that period, such as to connect them to another occupation or adequate institution.
