Swarmly is a startup company that is set to revolutionize the way visual inspections of large objects are done. By using a swarm of Artificial Intelligence-controlled micro drones (UAVs), our solution will create a detailed 3D map of any large object and overlay high-resolution images to create a distortion-free clear picture of the inspected object. After the scan is complete, Swarmly will analyze the image and pinpoint any defects, as well as prepare a report for a human inspector to review and verify. Swarmly operates completely without human control and utilizes very small quadrocopters to virtually eliminate risks of property damage and bodily injury, as well as reducing insurance and licensing requirements in most jurisdictions.

ITRB already successfully implemented 3 FP7 and is currently running 5 H2020 projects ( CycleFiber, REMAGHIC, SCALE, ENSUREAL, REMOVAL). ITRB is present in 5 European Countries and its Joint Venture with SalesForceEurope, through the Tech Hub, ensures an international footprint with more than 50 technical representatives around the world. The strong engineering background, together with experience in Product Life-Cycle and corresponding LCA analysis, allowed ITRB to bring to the market very complex products, namely a big Work Package exceeding 1200 Kg on the latest Airbus A350 XWB, supporting with Engineering and Program Management one of the Airbus Tier 1 supplier through its development up to the First Flight. ITRB is member of the EU ad-hoc Working Group on Raw Materials (a sub-group of the Raw Materials Supply Group, chaired by the European Commission, with the aim of defining critical raw materials and to shift the regional focus of critical resource assessment to the European Union). On top of Engineering experience, we are currently covering the roles of Innovation Manager and Communication Manager in the 5 above-mentioned H2020 projects, covering tasks on dissemination, communication, clustering, exploitation, international cooperation and program management. We recently launched the H2020 ITRB Innovation Forum, clustering, at present over 20 projects (with target of 50 by year end).
