Flygildi Silent Flyer
Flygildi is an Iceland-based company with the sole purpose of developing, maturing and commercializing a ground-breaking drone solution for covert and silent operations. The idea was born in 2008 by its founders Mr. Hjalti Hardarson and Dr. Leifur Thor Leifsson, who boast of more than 20 years’ extensive international experience in the development and commercialization of autonomous unmanned vehicles, both for aerial and underwater usage. The core technology is a novel wing design for a game-changing drone, which can mimic the performance of an actual bird, thereby emitting < 70dB of noise, while blending in with the surroundings through customizable appearance. This makes Silent Flyer a unique, first-of-its-kind UAV, which will be a game-changer for silent, small SUAS applications.
