MAKS Aviation was established in 1975 as the first privately owned ground handling company at Khartoum Airport. MAKS initially handled all of British Airways flights through Khartoum Airport. Two years after its establishment, MAKS expanded its services and began handling other European and international airlines including Swissair, KLM, Kenya Airways, Iberia, Kuwait Airways, Gulf Air, Qatar Airways, BMI, Bahrain Air, Eritrean Airlines and Syrian Airlines. As a local provider of passenger, ramp, and cargo handling services, MAKS Aviation Services aims to achieve excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.
