Sensory Restaurant on WheelsTM: A community program that combines elements of creative arts, reminiscence and community service for elders living with dementia and disabilities. Sewa Day, started in the UK in 2010 as an international movement of social action. Based on the Sanskrit principles of 'selfless service', Sewa Day gives individuals an opportunity to donate their time for a cause they felt strongly about. Sewa Day's core focus is on time-based volunteering over monetary donation under 3 major umbrellas: 1) To relieve hardship and poverty 2) To help the environment 3) To bring a little joy Over the past 8 years, Sewa Day, an NGO registered in UK and Wales, has touched the lives of over a people in 80 countries with that core focus intact. Hong Kong, home to Asia’s highest income inequality, has been part of the Sewa Day family since 2012. Starting with 1 project, 1 corporate, 70 volunteers cooked and distributed hot meals for people living in caged homes. The project was awarded the ‘Sewa Day Pioneers Award’ by then UK Prime Minister, Mr. David Cameron, in a ceremony at the House of Commons. Inspired by this project, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, E&Y and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) have run similar food drives every year, feeding over people in the process. The novel idea of donation of one’s time spread rapidly across Hong Kong, with over 25 projects organized the following year, supported by corporates and community leaders. People’s enthusiasm took Sewa Day across Asia, including Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, India and Malaysia, leading to an increase in number of volunteers from double digits to quadruple digits, and the number of projects to over 50. Projects are usually targeted towards - The environment - Underprivileged (including the poor, refugees, domestic helpers, ethnic minorities)- Elderly - Children - Specially-abled Sewa Day HK has been recognised in the South China Morning Post, HK Radio and by the Consulate General of India.

Stop Trafficking Of People Stop
We are Stop Trafficking of People also known as STOP, a programme under Branches of Hope, a non-government organisation in Hong Kong. Our goals are to raise awareness about human trafficking, connect with key counter-trafficking groups, provide victims with support, allow their voices to be heard, and to serve as a catalyst for positive change in the fight against modern-day slavery. We are a frontline Hong Kong-based initiative that responds to victims’ need in four ways:[Social Assistance & Legal Referral] We partner with specialized service providers such as leading human rights law firms, counsellors and temporary housing, together with our own case management services and expanding social assistance, in order to provide wraparound services for those recovering from exploitation in Hong Kong.[Community Outreach] Our outreach services connect with people who are underserved and never been rescued on a weekly basis. Due to the hidden nature of human trafficking, victims are often isolated, afraid, and at risk. Outreach allows us to provide one-to-one emotional support to victims and gather information about human trafficking, which we can further communicate to the wider audience.[Network Building] Human trafficking is an organised crime and in order to make progress organisations need to come together to collaborate to achieve common goals. We partner with interested frontline organisations to exchange information and discuss possibilities.[Public Education] We provide training and informational materials in both English and Chinese to help build capacity for identifying and responding to victims of human trafficking. Box Of Hope
Box of Hope is an annual charity project aimed at teaching Hong Kong school children about giving through providing useful/educational gifts to underprivileged children in Hong Kong & Asia donated by Hong Kong school children and local organisations. The concept is very simple: you fill old shoe boxes with NEW interesting and EDUCATIONAL gifts at home and drop them off at a collection point. The boxes are then collected and delivered directly to the children in need. The boxes are currently sent to charities in 8 different Asian regions/countries- CAMBODIA - CHINA - HONG KONG - MACAU - NEPAL - PHILIPPINES - THAILAND - VIETNAM Some of these children have never received a gift. The project is to encourage children ranging from 3 to 18 years to be aware of their environment/community and show them how they can help make a difference. In addition to providing educational and fun gifts for children in need throughout Asia.

Officially chartered on 17 June 2009, the Rotary Club of Central (RCC) is a non-profit organization formed by a group of 33 young professionals in our 20s and 30s from various industries, including education, trading, airline logistics, banking and finance, information technology, medical and healthcare, public relations, manufacturing, telecommunication and consultancy. One-third of the members are alumni of the Rotary Foundation and ex-Rotaractors who had previously attended international or local educational exchange programs organized by Rotary. RCC was formed to provide a platform for young professionals to collaborate our knowledge and experiences to serve the community. Following our 2009-2010 service project "Make A Wish", our signature project in 2010-2011 is "Make It Real", including a mentorship and personal development program, which are all fun-filled, meaningful and experiential to underprivileged, new children and teenage mainland China immigrants.

Forum Of Indian Professionals In Hong Kong
With the Consul General of India, Hong Kong, as our patron, FIPHK was formed in 2001. We are a non-profit, registered organisation in HK that provides a platform to professionals of Indian origin to network, interact and participate in events, focused on current affairs, culture, literature, business, sport, health & well-being. The Forum is also involved in taking on issues relevant to Indian professionals and the Indian community in HK, including participating in Government white papers and discussions, responses to media reports and editorials. As we have a close association with the Consul General of India, we work with them on various initiatives as well. Over the years, there has been a steady increase in the number of Indian professionals in Hong Kong and the FIPHK draws its membership from a cross-section of professionals from various industries like banking and finance, telecom, IT, media, shipping, insurance, law, accounting, consulting, medicine and academia, transcending regional, linguistic and cultural boundaries. Our members are professionally qualified individuals who hold senior positions in HK corporates and represent a diverse and rich cross-section of regional, linguistic, and professional backgrounds. We also organize seven main events during a calendar year. Apart from our marquee events, we invited prominent personalities to address and interact with our members Over the years, we have had the privilege of hosting Gen.
