Civil Initiative On Internet Policy
Civil Initiative on Internet Policy (CIIP) is a non-governmental organization founded in 2001 by legal experts in ICT sector and technical experts. The core of the CIIP activity is to facilitate ICT and Internet policy formulation through promotion of a decentralized, transparent Internet regulation and stimulating participation of civil society in policy making process. Our mission is to stimulate regulatory and legislative reforms in ICT policy, which ensure transparent legislative base, fair competition, and free access of citizens to telecommunication services and information resources. According to our vision, the presence of several competitive key players in ICT sector and free-of-regulation Internet should enable economic development and freedom of expression in Kyrgyzstan. Shortly speaking, we stand for liberalization and distribution of information technology and Internet in the country. The CIIP is leaded by Tattu Mambetalieva. Partnership established with representatives among governmental bodies, public organizations, educational institutions, enterpreneurs, and international organizations, which also actively work for the development of Internet and information technologies in Kyrgyzstan. The donors of the CIIP projects are USAID, OSCE, UNDP, Google, NED, NESsT, US Department of State, EU Commission, InfoDev, Hivos, and others.

Bomca Programme In Central Asia
Its current 10th phase (BOMCA 10) has started on April 1, 2021 for the period of 54 months with the budget of 21.65 million Euros. BOMCA 10 is implemented by the consortium of border management institutions of the selected EU MSs and International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) led by the State Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia. The Programme aims to enhance security, stability and sustainable growth in the region, while supporting cross-border cooperation and improving living conditions for people in the border areas of Central Asia. Thematically, BOMCA 10 covers four components: institutional development of border management agencies, improvement of detection capacities, trade facilitation, and improvement of cross-border cooperation. Geographically, the project covers all five countries of Central Asia. This page was created and maintained with the financial support of the European Union. Esimde ("I remember" in Kyrgyz language) is a discussion platform for studying and understanding the events, facts, processes and “blank pages” that remain in the history and memory of the people. We are the representatives of different professions, one way or another interconnected with history and memory, the passionate practitioners and theorists who are ready to make contributions to understanding the history of Kyrgyz Republic and Central Asia during the period XX-XXI centuries. Our mission: To promote a social shift in understanding the history and memory of Kyrgyz Republic during the period XX-XXI centuries. Tasks: Historical enlightenment activity on rethinking memory and historical experience of the Kyrgyz Republic and Central Asia during the period XX-XXI. Revival and preservation of historical truth on the “blank pages” in history, including the recovery of memory about the victims of mass repressions. Stimulating public discussion on poorly studied aspects of Kyrgyz history in XX-XXI. Facilitating the values of human life, freedom and democracy in public conscience and state policy. We not only stimulate interest in history but also hope to lay the foundation to future significant initiatives that will open new (unbiased) views of the society of independent Kyrgyz Republic to its own past, present and future. Exploring diverse methodological approaches to research history and memory. Approaches: Approaching history and memory through different ways — not limited only to conducting research — from employing visual practices through historical reconstructions to other public initiatives. We rely on interdisciplinary approaches in our research.

MoveGreen is a youth environmental movement in the Kyrgyz Republic. Our aim is to support and inspire environmental awareness and positive environmental actions through expertise, volunteering, and education. MoveGreen works with government, youth, civil society and NGOs in urban and at-risk rural areas and is a member of the Climate Action Network in the Kyrgyz Republic. MoveGreen has a volunteer and professional arm: professional activities support, focus, and educate volunteer activities. Professional activities focus on disaster risk reduction, air pollution, and environmental education. Volunteer activities focus on creating environmental education programs in schools and universities, organising practical actions, raising awareness about environmental problems through the media, and citizen environmental monitoring. ОО "Гражданский альянс за улучшение питания и продовольственную безопасность"(ОО "ГАУППБ") Цель: Содействие реализации права на питание населения, с фокусом на женщин и детей, других уязвимых групп, на качественное питание и продовольственную безопасность. Задачи: Содействовать созданию, укреплению и расширению многосторонней платформы (состоящей из НПО, государственных органов, частного сектора и научных кругов, международных агентств по развитию) и координации мероприятий по питанию и продовольственной безопасности в стране; содействовать включению вопросов питания и продовольственной безопасности в политическую, экономическую и социальную повестки страны и внедрению лучших практик в национальную политику для расширения мероприятий, основанных на доказательствах через принятие эффективных законов и политик; документировать и распространять, основанный на фактических данных, передовой опыт в области питания и продовольственной безопасности для адаптации и внедрения действий на национальном уровне; содействовать достижению консенсуса между Правительством КР (в том числе ключевыми министерствами и ведомствами) и ключевыми партнерами (в том числе двусторонними донорами, организациями системы ООН, НПО, бизнеса и т.д.) относительно вклада, который каждая из заинтересованных сторон может внести для улучшения в сфере питания и продовольственной безопасности, и совместной подотчетности; содействовать проведению оценки и мониторинга воздействия программ и стратегий на бенефициаров, включающих вопросы питания и продовольственной безопасности; содействовать адвокатированию прозрачности бюджета и отслеживанию финансовых средств и инвестиций, направленных на улучшение качества питания и продовольственную безопасность. В феврале 2015 года – Гражданский альянс стал членом Глобальной сети гражданских альянсов Движения расширения мероприятий по питанию. А в марте 2015 было создано ОО, которому были делегированы функции секретариата гражданского альянса в 2016 году.

С5 1 Youth Council Alumni
In 2016, with the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic collaboration, the American University of Central Asia has created a dynamic C5+1 Youth Council that brings together Central Asian youth with diverse backgrounds, leadership skills, and mindsets for positive change. Since January 2021, C5+1 YC has been administered by the American Councils for International Education Kyrgyzstan. The YC is a diverse group of Central Asian youth from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan. Every year new YC members from Central Asian countries and Afghanistan are selected among students representing local universities in Kyrgyzstan based on open competition, which includes application review and interviews, gender balance, diversity, and genuine interest in YC objectives. Currently, the C5+1 YC network consists of 73 YC Alumni and 49 YC members. The YC reinforces the U.S- Central Asia (C5+1) joint goals of the- Countering violent extremism (CVE)- Central Asia Business Competitiveness- The C5+1 Transport Corridor Development component- The C5+1 Power the Future project- The C5+1 Supporting National and Regional Adaptation Planning.
