Rwanda We Want
Rwanda We Want aims to train and harness leadership skills among young scholars, we want to provide and teach values of a good leader so as to develop a leadership mindset at an early age so that by the time these young individuals are put in positions to lead in their communities they will have a glimpse and a bit of understanding of what needs to be done to meet the requirements of the people they will be serving. Our view: We wanted to start the change from within before we can impact other regions, just like H.E President Paul Kagame said at the Rwanda Leaders Fellowship Prayer Breakfast “So, we begin with ourselves, building our country Rwanda and then give value to others”, hence the name Rwanda We Want. Good Leadership is the ultimate driving force in the development and prosperity of any nation. The Genocide against Tutsi that occurred in 1994 was a result of bad leadership, today our current leaders have eradicated this bad leadership which resulted in the peaceful and fast growing state we see today but now more than ever Rwanda needs to start preparing future generation of young leaders in order to set the bar even higher so as to make sure we never fall back to that Rwanda the world witnessed in 1994. Rwanda We Want was created to train young individuals who are still pursuing their secondary studies to become great leaders of tomorrow, we share with them values and the mindset of a great leader, we show them values of peace and unity.

Shelter Them Rwanda Official Page
Shelter Them’s Mission is to empower vulnerable and underprivileged children in Rwanda, by first ensuring they are integrated in an environment where their basic growth and development needs are met, and by subsequently providing them and their families with the tools and resources they need for these children to have a bright, independent and sustainable future ahead. Shelter Them is not focused on aid. The Organization is instead focused on empowering children with the tools they need to design their own bright future. This approach materializes in our focus on capacity building initiatives, of which our greatest ambition is to build and run a vocational school in the Bugesera District. We are working hard to get to this ultimate goal, but given the cost of the project and while we fund raise for it, we are actively working on other, smaller capacity building pilot initiatives that will push the organization through the learning curve and make it more proficient in delivering effective education programs.
