Modal
Modal Planning derives its name from the concept of "modal shift" in transport—a fundamental change that focuses on moving people towards more sustainable and efficient modes of transport. This idea reflects our commitment to driving positive changes in how we navigate the world, whether it's encouraging a shift from private vehicles to public transport, walking, or cycling. At Modal Planning, we believe that every decision, big or small, holds the power to create meaningful impact. Just as we advocate for modal shifts in transport to improve urban mobility and reduce environmental impacts, we apply the same principle to our approach to planning and decision-making. Our name embodies the daily choices we make to foster better, more sustainable outcomes, not just in transport but in every facet of community development. We are guided by the belief that thoughtful, intentional shifts—whether in transport modes or everyday actions—can lead to better futures. Modal Planning is more than a name; it’s a philosophy that drives our work, encouraging progress, innovation, and positive change at every step.
